Job Description: The IT Solution Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling technology solutions and services to new and existing clients. This role involves understanding customer needs, presenting tailored IT solutions, developing strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The executive works closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure successful solution implementation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calls, networking, events, and referrals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation and requirement gathering to proposal delivery and contract closure.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Present IT solutions (software, hardware, cloud, managed services, cybersecurity, etc.) to prospective clients.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Understand customer needs, business challenges, and industry trends to recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Solution Consultation

  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and propose customized solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, product demos, and solution overviews.
  • Communicate technical concepts in a clear, business-friendly manner.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare quotations, proposals, SOWs, and RFP/RFI responses.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM tools.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Revenue & profit achievement.
  • Pipeline growth and conversion rate.
  • Customer acquisition and retention.
  • Proposal quality and turnaround time

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of IT products/solutions (cloud services, networking, cybersecurity, software solutions, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into solution offerings.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Strong relationship-building and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with CRM and sales management tools.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in IT sales, solution sales, or technology business development.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
